so I haven't updated this in a LONG time. Sorry about that. We had a blast at christmas with my family in wyoming. We did all the usual traditions but I'll only tell you about a few so you don't think we're too crazy. We get together christmas eve and play games, like taking certain words out of the "Twas the night before christmas" poem and drawing htem out of a hat so they are all out of order. It's pretty funny. We also ate the usual foods, like 7 layer dip without all 7 layers and nasty smelling shrimp. We had a really good time and got some amazing gifts, like high boots, mario kart, and a sonic care toothbrush. we also gave each other some fun things and the baby got a lot. I had too much fun shopping for him. :) We've decided that next year we are taking a trip to los cabos, mexico so we aren't going to buy christmas presents. and the year after that we are buying one or two larger items that we need, instead of little things for each other. We are still making plans for new years.
The baby is growing up really fast. he will now stare you down and talk your ear off. it's really cute. he is working on holding his head up and coming along quite well. his eyelashes get longer every day. His favorite play toys are his bouncy chair and the mobile above his crib. He sucks on the side of his fist so it is really loud which is pretty funny. His favorite time of day is bath time for sure. He starts kicking and splashing and thrashing around, and even when he gets water in his face, he's as happy as can be.
So there ya go. I don't really know what else to say...
